Join AWAR member Julia Griner and painter Andrea J. Smith at her studio on the famous Via Margutta, a street put on the map by Picasso and Fellini, to name just a few. For over a decade, Andrea's had her atelier here, where she creates her deliciously colorful still lifes and teaches classes to amateurs and accomplished painters alike.
Spend a morning discovering what a typical day in the life of an artist looks like. Explore Andrea’s journey from initial idea to finished painting. She welcomes us into to her world of image making and will talk about how she transitions between studio time, the seasons, and various genres, allowing us a glimpse of what it means to be creative. We will be able to ask her questions about her artistic process, art theory and more while viewing her beautiful work.
The event is FREE, but please register online by Sunday, December 6. Seating room for six, with standing room for an additional six.
Lunch is not included but if we want to dine in Andrea’s company we have a restaurant in mind nearby.
