The heart of our AWAR Events Chair, Ute Winkler, has always beaten for animals who cannot help themselves. She recently met with Giulia Baliva, who runs Un Tesoro di Cane, an organization founded in Rome in 2010 to help abandoned dogs. Giulia is a dedicated and passionate woman and Ute has partnered with her for an event to raise money for these poor creatures who desperately need our help.
We will have a tea tasting in a private apartment where an expert will guide us through several varieties of tea (with some small snacks). Giulia will also talk about her organization.
When: Saturday, February 3 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Where: Via di Trasone, 6
Cost: 30 euros (about 10 euros will be donated, depending on the number of people)
