Join AWAR member Julia Griner and Marta and Claudio, the truffle cultivators of La Montagnola Agriturismo, for a one of a kind EXPERIENCE. This will be an opportunity to be enchanted by and get to know the world of truffles up close.
The day starts with truffle hunting in the woods of their estate of 2 hectares of holm oaks, oaks, strawberry and mastic trees. Accompanying us will be Clara or Cumbia, their veteran truffle hunting English cocker spaniels who are the real stars of the day. Thanks to their noses, we will locate the best truffles available to use directly in the dishes we bring to the table for lunch. This FAMILY friendly experience requires good health, experienced walkers and comfortable walking/hiking wear plus hiking boots.
Cost: 100€ per person over 16 years of age. 75€ for Kids from 10-16 and under 10 years old is the cost of lunch only. Lunch is included in these prices, but wine and white truffles are extra.
Minimum 10 people for an AWAR-exclusive event. If we are fewer than 10, we will hunt with non-AWAR participants. Register online by Oct 8! After that date, the registration fee is unfortunately NONREFUNDABLE.

How to get there: Car, Carpool or Train (the FCO-Orte line) to Poggio Mirteto Scalo. Julia can pick up and drop off 3 people at the station. Arrival time at station is 9:15 am.
