Housed in an elegant 19th century building near Termini Station, Palazzo Massimo is one of the most important archaeological museums in Rome, housing masterpieces such as The Discobolus (The Discus Thrower) and The Boxer at Rest. It also features well-preserved frescoes (the justly famous "garden from the villa of Livia") and beautiful mosaics.
A private tour in English has been arranged once again with Livia Galante.
When: Saturday, June 7, 10:00 am (please arrive 15 minutes earlier to receive tickets and headsets)
Where: Palazzo Massimo, Largo di Villa Peretti 2 (across from Termini Train Station)
Cost: €37 per person, guests welcome. Cost includes the museum ticket, guide, and headsets. It does not include a suggested gratuity of 5 euros per person for our tour guide. Minimum 10 participants, maximum 25.
Register and pay online by May 31! No cancellations, but tickets are transferable with prior notification to Caryn Hofberg.
