Please join the AWAR Wine Appreciation Club while we celebrate International Women's Day with a toast to the great Italian Women Winemakers! Discover the modern role of women in the current Italian wine sector. Taste wines made by women, from wineries owned by women, wines that were created from women's dreams, women's hard work, women's passion and determination. Four wines from four regions across Italy will lead the way for our exciting discussion about the changing role of women in wine and how they are gaining recognition, winning awards, and changing the face of Italian wine forever. At this event we have the pleasure of learning with Sommelier, Cynthia L P Chaplin, Director, Exquisite Italy in English. Since this is an interactive, educational experience, space is limited. Limited quantities of sampled wines will be available for purchase. Cost is €30 for wine tasting and aperitivo. Payments may also be made by bonifico.
