Join AWAR member Julia Griner at Terrecotte Sabine in Torri in Sabina, for a morning of pottery. Master ceramicist Eleonora has organised a lesson to hand mold an espresso cup and saucer, create a decorative piece, or paint a plate, cup or pitcher to your liking. She'll give instruction and a presentation on the art of ceramics and will finish/fire your pieces after the event (Julia can deliver them to Rome or they can be sent to you).
Lunch afterward will be at a typical Sabine restaurant across the road from a Vescovio that offers a beautiful digestive walk, viewing of an ancient church, and an ice cream to top off the day.
Cost: 50€ for pottery by hand, 60€ to design and paint your own plate. Fee to be paid online when you register. Lunch is a la carte pricing paid directly to the restaurant.
